This tour begins at the reception area of the pier, where our hostess will give you a security briefing and will prepare you for the tour ahead. Private a/c transport will take you to the Pawantún Jungle Oasis. While you are there at the main entrance, you will learn about local plants and their medicinal uses.
Before proceeding to enter the symbolic womb of mother earth, the Shamán will pass a ritual of burning Copal around your body. Once all are inside, the Hombre de Fuego (fire keeper) will place the volcanic stones in the centre of the Temazcal, while the Shamán sprinkles the stones with lovely aromatic herbs. After that the Shamán will be waiting to guide the group to align each guest with the 4 elements, earth, wind, fire and water, the ceremony proceeds to guide you to a spiritual rebirth through prayer, music and ancient chants.
You will live a sensation of heat, humidity and total relaxation. During the ceremony, hear the explanation of some of the events that are written in Mayan Cultures for the 2012. We are living the end of a cycle as indicated by the Mayan calendar Solkin. Open your mind and hear the recommendations from the Shamán that will help you to be prepared and also to receive in a positive way the day 21/12/2012.
To refresh once you have completed the purification, the Shamán will take you to a Cenote, where according to tradition the wells water is pure and virgin.
Enjoy the benefits of cleansing and beauty in a natural environment created especially for you. This is an experience to enjoy alone or share the emotional, spiritual and intimate bonding of the ceremony with a loved one.
